• Learners will review alcohol withdrawal pathophysiology, statistics, and the definition of alcohol withdrawal
• Learners will describe the clinical manifestations of alcohol withdrawal and their expected timing related to alcohol use
• Learners will diagnosis and classify the severity of alcohol withdrawal
• Learners will categorize patients appropriate for ambulatory management
• Learners will explain options for ambulatory management of alcohol withdrawal
• Learners will identify complicated withdrawal and patients appropriate for inpatient management
• Learners will describe inpatient treatment of alcohol withdrawal including severe withdrawal
