In this presentation, you will review common thyroid disorders and diseases. New treatment options will be discussed to improve patient outcomes.
Learning Objectives:
• Learners will be able to identify the accurate anatomic location of the thyroid, and identify lymph nodes
• Learners will identify and correct common misconceptions about the thyroid
• Learners will choose appropriate thyroid laboratory testing
• Learners will construct a plan based on testing and symptomatology
• Learners will discriminate false positive or negative testing
• Learners will improve their ability to diagnose and treat thyroid disease
