The presentation will discuss salient features of Opioid Use Disorder, including prevalence, emerging dangers, and predisposing factors. It includes a report on the proliferation of synthetic opioids and their association with chronic pain management. In doing so, the presentation will highlight the many points of intersection with a medical practice that can enable prevention, early intervention, risk mitigation, and treatment.
This presentation will shine a light on the many faces and disguises of Opioid Use Disorder. Thus, highlighting the various points of intersection with medical practice. This talk is pertinent for all medical professionals who provide patient care on a regular basis.
