Romeo Lucas, DO

Dr. Romeo Lucas is an OB/GYN practicing at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, Maine. He completed his bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He has a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. After two years of private chiropractic practice in New Jersey, he attended and earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, in 2008. He completed a rotating internship at UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey, in 2009 and his OB/GYN Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey in 2013. Dr. Lucas is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Lucas practices general OB/GYN with a specific interest and focus on pelvic pain syndromes. He uses a multi-faceted approach to diagnose and treat complicated pelvic pain presentations. This patient-specific approach incorporates a combination of hormonal, analgesic, neurologic, minimally invasive surgical, and/or Osteopathic manual therapies to address pelvic pain. He is a member of the American Academy of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, International Pelvic Pain Society, American Osteopathic Association, America Congress of OB/GYN, and the Maine Osteopathic Association. He is married with two dogs, three children, and four drumsets. He speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish but knows well it's time he figured out French too.
