Learning Objectives:
•    
Learners will accurately describe the signs and symptoms of patients presenting in the outpatient setting with clinically significant coronary artery disease.
•    Learners will contrast classic CAD symptoms compared to non-classic presentations.
•    Learners will successfully differentiate between multiple modalities available to evaluate for potential CAD.
•    Learners will choose the most appropriate test for their patient for the evaluation of CAD, thus reducing unnecessary tests which may lead to increased expense and potential patient harm.
•    Learners will correctly identify which patients need the various diagnostic tests for the diagnosis of CAD, thereby allowing for more rapid identification and treatment leading to improved outcomes.

Accreditation Statement: This program is co-sponsored by the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) and the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon (OPSO). Both osteopathic associations are accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

The program has been designated for a maximum of one (1) AOA Category 1-A credit(s) by the co-sponsors who have authorized the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons to report CME and specialty credits to the AOA commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.  

MAOPS is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

MAOPS designates this conference for a maximum of one (1) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)ä. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Osteopathic Grievance Policy: All grievances should be in writing and should specify the nature of the grievance.  Initially, all grievances should be directed to MAOPS Executive Director, who will then forward said grievance to the Virtual CME Committee.  All grievances will receive an initial response in writing within 30 days of receipt.  If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, they can then submit a complaint in writing to the Council on Continuing Medical Education of the AOA at 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611.

Tyler Schulz, DO, is a second-year General Cardiology Fellow at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. Dr. Schulz earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

In his spare time, Dr. Schulz enjoys playing soccer, exercising, biking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
