- This presentation will give learners an overview of smoking cessation. The risk factors of tobacco use and diseases associated with tobacco use will be discussed. Tips on how to counsel patients addicted to tobacco and the most recent evidence of pharmacotherapy for nicotine dependence will be addressed. All physicians have patients that are affected by tobacco use so all physicians should attend this presentation.
