David Drozek, DO, FACLM

Dr. David Drozek trained and practiced as a general surgeon for many years before his introduction to lifestyle medicine as a patient in 2011. Having personally experienced the reversal of chronic lifestyle-related disease, he transitioned into lifestyle medicine as a specialty. He is board certified in Lifestyle Medicine by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and in General Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery.  He is also a fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.  

Dr. Drozek is an Associate Professor of Specialty Medicine and is involved in research at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. He is also the Medical Director of Lifestyle Medicine at Marietta Memorial Health System in Marietta, Ohio. He works with the employee and community wellness programs in his clinical practice, which serve as a teaching and research venue. His research is focused on the teaching and delivery of lifestyle medicine, especially for people with limited resources.
