A workshop focused on the application of osteopathic principles in the clinical management of constipation.
Educational Objectives:
• Define constipation and discuss current diagnostic criteria
• Explain the pathophysiology, including the etiology, epidemiology, and risk factors of constipation
• Discuss the clinical manifestations and the physical examination findings of constipation
• Describe and administer the osteopathic manipulative treatment approach to the management of the constipation patient and discuss the treatment goals of the various types of techniques

He is an Associate Program Director for the Still OPTI-Northeast Regional Medicine Center Family Medicine Residency Program. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Snider is board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, and she completed her residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center. Dr. Snider has earned fellowship awards from the American Academy of Osteopathy and the National Academy of Osteopathic Medical Educators.
