This program will expire and must be completed by 07/10/27.

This session will briefly discuss the distinctiveness of the Osteopathic profession as well as a brief history of Osteopathic medicine in Montana.

Learning Objectives:
·    Discuss the ACGME/AOA single accreditation process and Osteopathic recognition pathway 
·    Review the history of Osteopathic Medicine in Montana 
·    Utilize Osteopathic principles, including the use of OMT procedures in clinical practice

Accreditation Statement:
The Montana Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A Credit(s) and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Grievance Policy:

Donald Grewell, DO, FAAFP Related Seminars and Products


Dr. Grewell is a board-certified family physician, in clinical practice from 1988 until 2021, eight years in private practice and 25 years with the Billings Clinic. He has been part-time faculty of the Montana Family Medicine Residency (MFMR) in Billings, Montana, since 2013, and was the director of Osteopathic education/Osteopathic recognition pathway in this program until 2020. He is a retired Army National guard veteran: eight years enlisted, four years as a warrant officer army aviator, then 16 years commissioned and senior flight surgeon, medical company commander, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He has been actively involved with the Montana Osteopathic Medical Association (MOMA) for 34 years, including as an officer, CME program director, and, for the last 13 years, as MOMA’s executive director. He has also been involved with the AOA’s house of delegates as a delegate from Montana for many years.
