Description

This program will expire and must be completed by 11/15/26.

This session discusses common spinal conditions as well as appropriate radiology orders and interpretations.

Learning Objectives:
·    Assess which radiology studies to order for common spinal conditions 
·    Interpret radiology reports 
·    Discuss which radiographic studies have poor utility and may not need to be ordered

The Montana Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credit and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Anthony Roccisano, DO, FAAOS has been in practice for over 12 years specializing in orthopedic spine surgery.  Initially from Connecticut I went to osteopathic medical school at KCOM in Kirksville, MO.  Did my internship and residency at St. Vincent Mercy in Toledo, OH followed by my spine surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.  Started working in 2010 and have primarily focused on degenerative spinal issues with special attention to disc arthroplasty, pediatric pars fracture repair, and lateral lumbar approach surgery.
