Dr. Amanda Shipp, MD
Capital Region Physicians - Versailles
Dr. Amanda Shipp received her MD in 2022 from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, Columbia, Missouri. She then completed her residency in Family Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Missouri–Columbia. Dr. Shipp is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Shipp is employed by Capital Region Physicians in her hometown of Versailles, Missouri, where she has practiced since 2014.
Dr. Shipp serves on the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians Board of Directors for District 5. Dr. Shipp was voted Missouri's Best Doctor for 2022 and 2023. She completed the American Academy of Family Physicians Leading Physician Wellness inaugural program in 2021. Dr. Shipp has always been interested in physician wellness and has pursued balance as a physician and mother since residency. She has survived a burnout journey and has shared her story with other physicians and students.
Dr. Shipp enjoys baking, sewing, movie marathons, roller coasters, and vacations to Disney World with her husband Ben and children Olivia, Finn, Henry, and Rosalind.
