Amy Yang, MD
Dr. Amy Yang is an Assistant Professor at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. She is a Clinical Geneticist and Pediatrician. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the NYU School of Medicine, now known as NYU Grossman School of Medicine, in 2006. Dr. Yang completed her residency training in Pediatrics and Genetics at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York in 2009 and 2011, respectively. In 2016, she received the Medical Genetics Residency Teaching Award. Dr. Yang is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and in Genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
Prior to her move to OHSU in 2018, Dr. Yang was an assistant director of the Medical Genetics Residency Program and an Associate Director of the Lysosomal Storage Disease Program at Mount Sinai Hospital. Currently, she is serving as the Medical Director of the Metabolic Genetics and Lysosomal Disease Program at OHSU. She is a Northwest Regional Newborn Screening Program consultant and is a member of their Advisory Board.
Dr. Yang was named a New York Rising Stars Super Doctor in 2018. In 2021, she was named Top Doctor by the Portland Monthly Magazine.
Dr. Yang loves hiking, spending time with her kitties, and trying new recipes in her free time.
