Mrs. Heather Johns, LCSW
Center for Mental Wellness
Ms. Johns is the manager of the Center for Mental Wellness at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. She graduated from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri, with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She completed her Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Ms. Johns obtained her clinical license in social work, practicing in an outpatient setting and working with all ages around mental health diagnoses and family life stressors. She also earned her Master Certified Physician Development Coach license. She is the Clinical Administrator for the MAOPS Physician and Health Professional Wellness Program, serving physicians and health professionals throughout Missouri.
Ms. Johns enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, yoga, walking her basset hound, and attending sporting events.
