Daniel Henery, DO Related Seminars and Products

Dr. Daniel Henery grew up in Washington state, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. He worked in finance for a short time and then decided to pursue his dream of attending medical school. He is a proud graduate of the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Samaritan Health Services program in Corvallis, Oregon. Dr. Henery served as Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine program during his final year of residency. He is currently a Cardiology fellow at Samaritan Health Services.

While in medical school, Dr. Henery was the student government vice president and served as a representative for the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents. He was nominated to Sigma Sigma Phi, a national osteopathic honors society, for his academic performance and leadership. Previous honors include winning 1st place at the 2019 Oregon ACP Conference as a clinical research presenter, as well as being nominated to present at the 2022 Oregon ACC Cardiovascular Symposium.

Dr. Henery enjoys spending time with his wife, two dogs, and two cats outside of work.

Romeo Lucas, DO Related Seminars and Products

Dr. Romeo Lucas is an OB/GYN practicing at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, Maine. He completed his bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He has a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. After two years of private chiropractic practice in New Jersey, he attended and earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, in 2008. He completed a rotating internship at UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey, in 2009 and his OB/GYN Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey in 2013. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical OB/GYN for the Northeast Osteopathic Medical Education Network and Affiliate Clinical Faculty at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. Dr. Lucas is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Lucas practices general OB/GYN with a specific interest and focus on pelvic pain syndromes. He uses a multi-faceted approach to diagnose and treat complicated pelvic pain presentations. This patient-specific approach incorporates a combination of hormonal, analgesic, neurologic, minimally invasive surgical, and/or Osteopathic manual therapies to address pelvic pain. He is a member of the American Academy of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, International Pelvic Pain Society, American Osteopathic Association, America Congress of OB/GYN, and the Maine Osteopathic Association. He is married with two dogs, three children, and four drumsets. He speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish but knows well it's time he figured out French too.

Gregory Stevens, DO Related Seminars and Products

Dr. Gregory Stevens is an Associate Clinical Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He is also a clinical specialist in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Family Medicine and has his own private practice. Dr. Stevens is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. He is also board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.

Dr. Stevens received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Maine Dartmouth Family Medicine in August, Maine. He then completed his fellowship in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine with the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in their Plus-One Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Program (UNECOM + 1 NMM).

Dr. Stevens was named the Young Osteopathic Physician of the Year in 2019 by the Maine Osteopathic Association. He is active in the American Osteopathic Association, the American Association of Osteopathy, the Maine Osteopathic Association, and the Cranial Academy. Dr. Stevens was a non-traditional medical student, having started school at age 32. He previously was a massage therapist for 11 years, and he has been doing various forms of hands-on healing work for more than 25 years.

Dr. Stevens has been married to an amazing and beautiful woman for 18 years and is happily child-free. In his free time, he enjoys playing the mandolin, mountain biking & cycling, gardening, sitting around a campfire, and enjoying the natural beauty in Maine.

Nathan R. Prichard, DO, MBA Related Seminars and Products

Dr. Nathan Prichard is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. He currently provides direct patient care at the University of Kansas Health System's Marillac Campus in Overland Park, Kansas. Dr. Prichard provides Psychiatric Inpatient and Outpatient care to children and adolescents. He also works in physician informatics as the Medical Director for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Prichard utilizes a passion for advancing healthcare delivery technology to help optimize patient care.

Dr. Prichard has been involved in graduate and post-graduate medical education. He is serving as a Clinical Attending for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He also took on the role of Associate Program Director for the General Psychiatry Residency Training program during the 2020-2021 academic year. Dr. Prichard transitioned to take over as the Program Director for the Child and Adolescent Fellowship Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center in January 2022.

Dr. Prichard received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience, Kansas City, Missouri, in 2013. Dr. Prichard completed his residency in Psychiatry and his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He served as both Chief Resident and Chief Fellow. Patrick Leary, DO, MS, FAAFP, FACOFP, FACSM, FAOASM Related Seminars and Products

Dr. Patrick F. Leary is the Director of Sports Medicine at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Erie, Pennsylvania. He also is a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine and Sports Medicine at LECOM. Dr. Leary is the lead team physician for the NBA G League Erie BayHawks, Mercyhurst University, and PennWest Edinboro University. Dr. Leary is board certified in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine and Geriatrics by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He works at the LECOM Wellness and Integrative Health Center. He received a Master of Science in Medical Education from LECOM in 2012.

Dr. Leary is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Leary mentors specialty physicians in China for the IPCEA/ACOFP and in Cologne, Germany, for the AOASM/DIAA. He is the Program Director of the LECOM Sports Medicine Fellowship, which emphasizes the use of MSK diagnostic ultrasound and regenerative injection therapy. Dr. Leary is also a large medical group's Health, Wellness, and Communications Director.

Dr. Leary is a graduate of the Kansas City University of Medicine and Bio-Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the team physician at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, from 1995-2005, where he also did his undergraduate work. During that same time, he was also the medical director of Holy Cross House, a senior living center for retired priests.

Dr. Leary is the recent past president of his specialty college, the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine (AOASM). He recently was appointed to the sports medicine advisory board of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA). He is presently a member of the ACSM Team Physicians Consensus Panel and NCAA Cardiac Task Force.

Dr. Leary has published and researched Vitamin D, ACL Injuries and Prevention, Sports-Related Concussion in Family Practice, athletic pubalgia, concussion in boxing, athletica nervosa, and baby boomer fitness injuries. He presents nationally on Mental Health in Adolescent Sports, Osteopathic Approach to Sports Medicine, and Physician Burnout, along with other sports medicine topics. He has participated in philanthropic medical work in numerous countries (Honduras, Mexico, Qatar, Chile, China, Germany, etc.).

Dr. Leary is married and has four children. He enjoys teaching and traveling along with hunting, fly fishing, and golfing.

Deon Cox-Hayley, DO Related Seminars and Products

Dr. Deon Cox-Hayley is a Professor of Medicine and the Program Director for the Geriatrics Fellowship Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She received her medical degree in 1986 from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, now known as Kansas City University in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Cox-Hayley is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Care from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas, School of Medicine in Wichita, Kansas.

Dr. Cox-Hayley is a member of the American Geriatric Society, the Christian Medical and Dental Association, the University of Kansas Alzheimer's Disease Center, and the Association of Directors of Geriatric Medicine Academic Programs. She was a member of the Geriatric Medicine Certification Standard Setting Panel for the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2019. Dr. Cox-Hayley was a finalist for the Joy McCann Professorship and was elected to the Gold Humanism Society in 2016.

Dr. Cox-Hayley has a wonderful husband and three children in their 20s. One daughter is ready to earn her Ph.D. in Neuroscience, and her other daughter is a biomedical engineer. Her son just graduated from osteopathic medical school at Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and just started his Internal Medicine residency. She enjoys writing about aging through the lens of a veteran Geriatrician. Her parents live nearby, and she cares for them, so she is a Geriatrician at work and at home. She loves spontaneous and fun adventures with friends and family.

Alon Avidan, MD, MPH, FAAN, FAASM Related Seminars and Products

Dr. Alon Avidan is a Professor of Neurology at the University of California in Los Angeles, California (UCLA), where he directs the Sleep Disorders Center and serves as Chair of the Faculty Executive Committee for the David Geffen School of Medicine. He completed his medical school training and his residency in Neurology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Avidan then completed his fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Avidan was recently awarded and served as Visiting Professor of Neurology Education in the Department of Neurology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. He also was selected to receive the 2014 American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) Excellence in Education Award for career contributions to education in sleep medicine. Dr. Avidan has published over 100 manuscripts on sleep disorders. He has co-authored four books: "Handbook of Sleep Medicine," "Geriatric Sleep Medicine," "Review of Sleep Medicine," and "Atlas of Clinical Sleep Medicine." Dr. Avidan is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), and in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM), and the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
