Ben Black, MD, FAAP
Dr. Ben Black is a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician who serves as Director of Medical Services at the Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders in Columbia, Missouri. He attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated in 2009. He completed his residency in Pediatrics and his fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Before joining the Thompson Center in January 2020, he was on staff at Children's Mercy Kansas City, where he served as Associate Chief of the Section of Developmental Pediatrics. Dr. Black's clinical and research interests include pharmacological management of neurobehavioral disorders.
Dr. Black and his wife Nicole have two kids, Julia, age 12, and Peter, age 9.
