Hugh Ettlinger, DO, FAAO

Dr. Hugh Ettlinger is a 1987 graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) in Westbury, New York. Dr. Ettlinger is board certified in OMM by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He studied as a post-graduate, for 15 years, with Dr. W. G. Sutherland's student, Dr. Anne Wales, DO. Dr. Ettlinger is an Associate Professor of OMM at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Director of the NYCOM/St. Barnabas ONMM Residency Program in the Bronx, New York, which he developed 30 years ago.

Dr. Ettlinger became a Fellow of the American Academy of Osteopathy in 1998 and a fellow of the Osteopathic Cranial Academy in 2016. Dr. Ettlinger has served on the Cranial academy board and the AAO Board of Trustees. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation and is on the AAO Board of Governors. Dr. Ettlinger is Faculty and Program Director for the SCTF, the Cranial Academy, and the AAO. He serves the AAO as a member of the Postdoctoral Standards and Evaluation and Undergraduate Academies Committees. He is also the Advisor for the National Undergraduate Fellows Association. Dr. Ettlinger has been awarded the Northrup Lecture, the Blood Lecture, and the Sutherland Memorial Lecture.
