Jonathan Jones, MD
Dr. Jonathan Jones graduated with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2002. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Following residency, he worked as a Hospitalist for four years at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho. He finally followed his heart to the field of Rheumatology and returned to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for a fellowship in Rheumatology, which he completed in 2012. He then joined Dartmouth Medical School's faculty and worked as a Translational Scientist in Dr. William Rigby's lab.
Dr. Jones moved to Corvallis, Oregon, in 2017 and joined Samaritan Health Services as a Rheumatologist, where he still practices. He spends most of his time as a Community Rheumatologist, but he spends some time training Internal Medicine residents and doing small research projects when he can find the time. Dr. Jones is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Jones loves to play games, go on hikes, or travel with his wife and five children outside of work.
