Mitchell DForman, DO, FACR, FACOIMACP, FRCP, received hiDO from The Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine i1973. He completed his rotating internship and 1st year of Internal Medicine residency at Green Cross General Hospital and completed hiInternal Medicine residency at The Brooklyn Veterans Administration Hospital. He was the 1st DO to be accepted and to complete a Rheumatology Fellowship at State University of New York & Downstate Medical Center where he remained as a Faculty Member. He subsequently relocated to the University of North Texas Health Science Center as Faculty Member rising to Associate Professor and Dean/VP of Student Services. He continued to practice Rheumatology there. He relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada anhad the honor of being the Founding Dean of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicinethe President of the Clark County Medical Society and Nevada State Medical Associationthe 1spracticing physician in Nevada to be awarded the prestigious Mastership of the American College of Physicians (MACP) and, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) while continuing to practice Rheumatology. He subsequently became Professor of Medicine ithe Division of Rheumatology at the UNLV School of Medicinewhere he is currently the Program Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program tasked with applying for approval of the 1sRheumatology Fellowshiithe State of Nevada and June 2023 became the President of the Clark County Medical Society for the 2nd time.
