Nathan Cleaver, DO, FAAD, FAOCD
Dr. Nathan Cleaver is a Missouri native but has practiced in Georgia for the past six years. He is co-founder of Cleaver Medical Group, a multi-physician, multi-specialty practice serving numerous communities in north Atlanta. Dr. Cleaver received his medical degree from A.T. Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Cleaver completed his internship at the St. John Health System in Oakland County, Michigan. He completed his Dermatology residency and served as chief resident at Michigan State University - St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Cleaver completed his fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York, New York, and his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Cleaver is board certified in Dermatology, Dermatopathology, and Mohs Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Cleaver's professional interests include the diagnosis and management of cutaneous oncology, analysis and management of pigmented lesions and melanoma, and tropical and infectious dermatology and dermatopathology. He is actively involved in clinical research. Dr. Cleaver does weekly didactic sessions to teach dermatopathology to the dermatology residents affiliated with Northeast Regional Medical Center.
