Arpit Aggarwal, MD

Dr. Arpit Aggarwal received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Pune, Ahmedabad, India. He completed his residency in Psychiatry and his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the University of Missouri and is currently the Medical Director of the Psychiatry Emergency Services. Dr. Aggarwal also serves as the Training Director for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Missouri.

Dr. Aggarwal is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also board certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Aggarwal has made several publications, posters, presentations, and media appearances. His honors include being named the Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2021 and receiving the MUPC Leadership Award at the University of Missouri in 2017.
