Jennifer Hansen, MD, FAAP

Dr. Jennifer Hansen is a Child Abuse Pediatrician and the Medical Director of the P-SANE (Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) Program at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She completed her Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship training at Children's Mercy in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Hansen attended medical school completed her General Pediatrics Residency training at the University of New Mexico Children's Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

Dr. Hansen is also an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Hansen is a member of multiple multidisciplinary teams in Kansas and Missouri and serves on multiple local and state boards and workgroups addressing child abuse and commercial sexual exploitation of children. She is interested in expanding general knowledge about child abuse identification and prevention to the public.
