Linda Deppe, DO

Dr. Linda Deppe obtained her Doctor of Osteopathy degree at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Duluth Graduate Medical Education Council Inc. in Duluth, Minnesota. Dr. Deppe is board certified in Family Practice by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice.

Dr. Deppe spent most of her career at Loma Linda University in Southern California, mentoring and teaching a generation of Family Medicine residents and students. She served in many roles during her time there from 1993 – 2012. She found the trusted relationships and deep continuity there very rewarding, and she treasured the care of patients and families of all ages, including low-risk obstetrical care. In her last six years in practice, Dr. Deppe worked for the consortium of clinics with San Bernardino and Riverside County Indian Health. In both settings, she was instrumental in getting their accreditation for Patient-Centered Medical Home, process work on decreasing hierarchy within medical teams, and streamlining care in the outpatient setting.

Dr. Deppe is passionate about teaching learners about domestic violence, and she has been lecturing annually to osteopathic students for 20 years in Pomona, California, and Lebanon, Oregon.

Dr Deppe retired in 2017 and moved to Portland, Oregon, where she gardens, travels, and enjoys her young adult sons and their wonderful friends. She is happy to still have some involvement with medical students through the Narrative Medicine program at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon.
