Walter Mickey, DO, EdD, FACOI


Dr. Walter Mickey is a Critical Care/Neurocritical Care physician and the Medical Director of the Neurotrauma ICU for Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from AT Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) in Kirksville, Missouri. Dr. Mickey is board certified in Neurocritical Care by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties and in Critical Care Echocardiography Testamur by the National Board of Echocardiography. In addition, he is board certified in Critical Care Medicine and Internal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Mickey is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He is also a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and the American Osteopathic Association.
