Katie Davenport-Kabonic, DO, FAAFP

Dr. Katie Davenport-Kabonic is a graduate of AT Still University - Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) in Kirksville, Missouri. In 2012, she was selected as a MAOPS Wetzel Scholar. Dr. Davenport-Kabonic completed her Family Medicine residency and Obstetrics fellowship at CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency in Springfield, Missouri. She currently serves CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency as a Family Physician and is the SWMO AHED - Springfield Director of Student Medical Education. Dr. Davenport-Kabonic is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. 

Dr. Davenport-Kabonic has completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training and Level 1 Warriors At Ease trauma-informed yoga teacher training. She is the Lead Physician for the Springfield Walk With a Doc chapter and is an active member of the MAOPS Education and Convention Committee and ATSU-KCOM Curriculum Committee. 

Dr. Davenport-Kabonic is married to Dr. Michael Kabonic, and they have two children, Evelyn and Oliver. Her interests include yoga, meditation, nature, living room dance parties with her children, whole food/plant-based cooking, photography, and movies & books involving fantasy fiction, science fiction, and mystery.
